This show was the cumulation of my time at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Each senior in the art department had to take a year long thesis class which ended with an art show. For this show I made two large layered plexiglass sculptures that hung from the ceiling. Each sheet of plexi was 24" by 36" 

This show consisted of four elements. 

1. Plexiglass etched sculpture of my terrapin design

2. A terrapin made from found bark pieces. The bark represented the scutes that make up each turtle's shell.

3. My terrapin design made up of over 100 pieces of textured paper.

4. Squirt my pet turtle that the works were based on.
